So Maren's finally put her foot down about The Mullet. "Its grown too long," she said. "Its time to blah blah blah blah blah," I heard. "Blah blah blah blah, blah blah. Blah. Blah blah blah blah blah." I don't think it was too important.

However, because of an earlier bad haircut episode, and because of her own complaints of bad haircuts at the hands of her own mother, I had made her promise to never cut Eowyn's hair again without my expressed written permission. I gave it to her verbally.
