Waco trip

So this past week was spring break. It was a MUCH needed break. We went to Waco Saturday morning just to get away for a couple of days, and it was great to see some friends. But tomorrow we start back up with school again, and as I write this, The Goonies is on TV. Let's hear it for Jonathan Ke Quan, better known for his role in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom when he yelled "Indy, Indy!" 5 dozen times. But, ah, Goonies, giving us an early glimpse of the acting prowess of Samwise Gamgee (a.k.a. Lynn McGill, Rudy, or, to those of us who know him, John Bower), and Edgar Frog (a.k.a. Teddy Duchamp, Ricky Butler (opposite Ray Peterson (a.k.a., Chuck Noland, Jimmy Dugan, Capt. John H. Miller, and Woody)), Dean, or just simply "how the heck did he get so many roles??"). But I digress...

So...anyway. Here's some pictures of Eowyn.

After watching Enter the Dragon on AMC with daddy, Eowyn's been listening to Carl Douglas on repeat for the last 7 days...

Its her "school spirit", "9 mos clothes are getting too small", "see how chubby my thighs are", and "best Michael Jordan impression, now all I have to do is dunk" look rolled into one...

with Tante Kirsten...who's probably going to see this, cry because she "misses us" (i.e., Eowyn), and then call around midnight her time...

...leave her for one second...this time she was scooting under her crib...

at the Waco Zoo

Refreshing slushy after the zoo...she's figured out the straw goes in the mouth, but she hasn't figured out what to do next.

Our friends Justin & Atalie. We stayed with them over the Waco weekend. Justin is multi-lingual, and here he's reading to Eowyn in High German.

With the Castleberrys.

You can't tell real well, but Eowyn was asleep, and she had her foot up on the wall.
